well, please don't shoot me if you don't like the specification, term or shortcut ...
when I was asked about the settings I named it short and precise rwf instead of lwf, because one thing is for sure: It isn't anymore linear...
and yep, it's not alone the gamma, all the different settings combinded together are building now rwf - rieder work flow.

At this stage, I am happy with the results.. and I have used it sucessfully in production.
But let me underline again, it's just one way of many .. so what ever works best for you guys.
