What would make sense to me would be to have the VrayScatterTexture applied to the scatter object instead of the other way around like it is now. It seems intuitively backwards this way. Often the same materials are used for single instance objects as well, in which case you have to keep flipping the diffuse map between VRS colour slot and the diffuse slot.
