    Re: Been a busy boy...

if u use photoshop and ur scaling down ur line overlay to fit ur render, when u use freetransform to do so, there is a central toggle on ur freetransform that u can lock any corner or point of the line overlay to the coresponding corner or point of the render that makes it easier to place with 100% accuracy

      Re: Been a busy boy...

I figured I might have to manually tweak it in PS. But I thought I'd check in the forums if there was a better way.

      Thanks.

I really like the effect created with the line overlay. Nice subtle colours.
Please mention what V-Ray and SketchUp version you are using when posting questions.

hey sorry, unable to share its a Formfonts tree, but if u go check on the site u might find some freebies that are similar? sorry

if u have a formfonts account the exact tree was: Generic Tree 07

                      Re: Been a busy boy...

i liked them all but mostly 2nd and 3rd, very very nice exteriors, its amazing how u get those models to work! my quad6600 with 4gb ram and Nvidia 9800GX2 sketchup crashes with high poly models u_u i dont understand how u do those renders, u must have a monsterPC or super powers or something like that

                        Re: Been a busy boy...

u have higher specs than me i have a Quad6600 with 2 gigs Ram and a 8600GT, this was shell modeling so theres no interiors for those building and all cars are from form fonts so they are super low poly and i kept the modeling down to only what was necessary for the view... with mado.EXT those took about 40 minutes a render

Try ashampoo photo optimiser for the top pic.
