      i used displacement maps on closups, the posts were displacement and bump,the wall on the left was just displacement, the right is bump. the roof tiles are displacement, very little, so it was a mixture. But overall on this model is a mix of bump or displacement.
      Just note: using displacement, its a render killer. Sometimes better to go for bump if no one will see the effect from far away. Close ups, better to do displacement, more believable.

        hi silvershadow, if its not too much of a trouble, you previously enumerated the ruby scripts you used during your modelling..and am really having a hard time finding those plugins..if you could please give me the website, where i could get some of those plugins, id really appreciate it..thank you.. ;D

          most you can get here, just do a quick freeregistration and youre off.

          and more sub divide and smooth you need to buy.
          i used that on only on the stone pillars
