I took this product and changed it from a working prototype into something more aesthetically pleasing.
It didn't end up how I would have liked it but sacrifices were made for the sake of manufacture.
I did this work on a summer job, probably the most awesome summer job ever.

                few more designs here: http://s437.photobucket.com/albums/qq92/balllistix/

I did the animation using scenes in sketchup, I just wish there was a way to make it flow better, and also take less time! I had to render 200 + frames each at about 3 minutes :O

                  Hi Jebimasta
I like the translucency material on the first image.

                  Great!

Thank you for your kind words
I really like it too! the funny thing is I swear the material is the same in the others, I must have missed a setting somewhere because it hasn't come out the same again :-\
The material is supposed to emulate SLA/SLS rapid prototyping

bechura: its all about practice and patient, im sure you are gonna get great results with time and practice, check my first renders and you will see hehe,..

                                nomer: hehe thx bro.

artupato: the small spots may be resolved checking color mapping options like clamp output and sub-pixel, also the subdivisions in light cache or the min and max rate parameters if u are using irradiance map, lower parameters make this spot sometimes, this maybe resolve it....about the blanket i didnt make it is a evermotion component, btw whats up with the sir word hehehe
