      thx for the comments guys

Nope i havnt changed things on the car since the 1st rendering. Only used different reflection maps.

losbellos: Well, i am used to modelling with polys only since 95% of my work are game models.
UBIkmh: yeah, not very expensive. When i owned that car 15 years ago prizes were nearly the same with only 83 registered cars in whole germany. The real pain about it is the spare part situation because Simca company went through so many hands after collapsing.
I think its now 8000euro for category 1 car.

Nice gimmick: This car engine is the only one in the worl which runs counterclockwise. The time i restaured my car i was learning car mechanic and the day i tried to testrun it (i bought it deassembled from someone who gave up after doing the body work). We (3 older mechanice and me) got it after 40min with everyone scratching his head why the engine wont start. Then someone pointed us to it "look guys, the engine runs wrong way"
Cool looking sports car with no power. You could reach 180-190kmh, but as soon the car only saw a mountain or hill on the horizont it would slow down to 140-150kmh. 1200ccm was really too small to be a real competion to VW Porsche 914 (as planed)

Got to hand it to you...although the top shot doesn't do any favours, going on the rest, that is one of he best CG cars I've seen to date, the headlights in particular are really well done

Great stuff - but i would propose one thing: Use Rhino! With your talent you get a perfect model easily!
