Hello my name is André, im Portuguese, and i study landscape Architecture, i made this for my school project last May.
At that time i didn't know anything about Vray so this weekend i though ok lets try this...i read and saw some tutorials and came this.
I still have a lot to do:
- i have many problems doing the water looking more real, any suggestions?
- what do you think about the materials?
- im adding details like boats, people and esplanades.
- and im still trying to get my sun light good, any configurations you can suggest?
my configurations are:
- global switches - max depth=2
- Physical Camera - default
- GI=0.5 (sky)
- background=1 (sky)
- Adaptive DMC - default
- Color Mapping - exponential
- irradiance map - min rate=-4 ; max rate=-2
- light cache - subdivs=500 ; num phases=1
And it came this

After that i thought it was lacking color and contrast so i edited on photoshop, and came this
