lookin' great- wheel spin a must. from my trips to cabo- a lot of red dust on the bottom of body and undercarriage would be appro. as would a reason for the wheelie...
one more small detail that might make all the difference......use a motion blur on the background (photoshop post?). You could keep it relatively low so it doesn't completely blur out the image, but that should help the truck look like it's going by the camera and not a low rider with those bouncy shocks
restroe - Most of the cage and the engine are from a nastruck I found on one of those racing sim sites, though I'll probably end up modeling one that is more correct. The parts of the cage I did model are indeed converted splines, the body I poly modeled. The rest of the stuff is mostly lathed or extruded. And yep I modeled the indy car, there are some shots of it on my web site though I've never really finished it.
I agree with the motion blur , probably be one of the last things though.
