    nice....you're a detail freak!!

I like the night scene w/ the exeption of the blue lighting hitting the side of the windows.....it seems a bit too saturated/bright....it's kinda distracting....other then that it's good.

what's on TV??...that looks like Howard Dean (US polititian)...hehehehe

    paul.

    PS:
it would've been nice if your lamps by the mirror were on....and maybe even the stand-up lamp by the window was stronger.....I think it would've added some more focus/interest points throughtout the image.....just an opinion, though....

the day shot look great..... i like the shadows hitting the wall.... i agree with cocolas about the blue light needs to be toned down.

did you model the tv? or did you get it from somewhere??? where???

The night scene looks really odd, I can't fathom where there is more light on the wall between the windows and the T.V. Maybe a suggestion here is to have the TV the main directional light source then candle as omni light then moonlight. I watch TV at night and it is not that bright unless I am watching alot of gunfights.

            just my two cents,

            Stephen H.

Correct me if I am worng. Maybe a suggestion here is to have the TV the main directional light source then candle as omni light then moonlight. Great...make us all feel like utter crap now why dont you. sheesh. pictures of this quality should be banned from this website. makes us all fell like just giving up and taking up farming instead of 3d hehe really awsome image. For the TV did you use a standard material with 100% self illumination inside of a vray material wrapper to control the GI generate amount?

Hi i used these settings with GI enviroment sett to 3.6 with light yellow/orange color.

One 3ds max photometric sunlight an one omnilight in the midle window with multiplier sett to 0.2 with no attenutation

ONE EXCEPTION HERE: i used exponential color mapping not HSV exponential that shows on my settings my fault.

Da_elf your right about the tv material that's how it's made.
