i think you still need to do more work on the wood texture...
the grain's massive at the moment, makes it look like a scale model or something.

carpet tiles always present a problem for me too, they always, er, tile if you know what i mean...

a quick solution that works quite well for me is to make a new tiled texture in photoshop 4x4 or 6x6 grid with the one tile you've got rotated at random throughout the new tiled texture...

that way your tile looks less tiled...

          i think that made sense!

You can not say things like "you need to work more on your texturing"or"you gotta improve your illumination" without proposing anything!:
!)That what you think needs improvements

When the advice is free I think you CAN say as little or as much as you like. General statements such as 'your lighting is wrong' or 'your texturing needs work' for images that require a lot of work are perfectly good responses imho...

Is there perhaps too much color bleeding now? Its too red imho, maybe make it more subtle?

                        reza

image looks great from what you started with to what you ended up with. what exactly did you do to get rid of the color bleedingin the image?

i cut the gi for the carpet from 1 to .5, everything else was maintained...just to proove that a single change can further enhance a cgi.
