I would move the box with logs out of the way and I think the wood floor would be better if you rotate it 90 degrees. take the side table out... and more sitting, a linear sofa does look weird... at least one more to distract the view from these two doors and other one at the opposite side.

I'll play with things. The floor runs that way, so I can't change that.

Yea, I'm used to tweak scene with unsupported features, now it takes me only a couple of minutes to by pass that and reconstruct a multi-sub materials that is really close to the original one.

Very blah about this one, but I am giving them exactly what they want, so if they are happy... The background image was provided to me and is obviously low resolution and falls apart in the image.

besides of the quality of the background my comment would be the size of the fire-pit, it's taken the whole space and from a buyer or marketing point of view is not the best way to sell a generous roof deck in my opinion.
Have you tried to take the noise out of the background?

The fireplace is to scale, but I had to distort the camera so much, to get what they wanted, everything went wacky.

So, this project was sold and the original guy paid me in full. However, now the new owners has new ideas. Ugh! I'm rolling with the punches because I am already doing three other projects for them. Those trees that the architect wanted, well the new PM hated them .

thanks! It was kind of rushed. When the new guys purchased the project and asked for all the changes, they didn't offer up any money; they assumed it was already paid for, so why not make changes?

I am extremely pleased at the speed which my exteriors are renderings. These took 20 minutes at 4K. Basically, I'm doing IRR at low, LC at 1/2 my images length resolution, AA at 1/4, with all my subdivision at 8. It's kind of based on Vlado's suggestions, only my settings are a lot lower.
