I cant see a huge benefit to using the 32bit Tiff in PS at the moment either, it certainly doesnt handle like a RAW photograph - again I might just be doing this wrong!
Also, what is Fusion? This? http://fusion-hdr.com/home
Having a quick google on that is leading all over the place..

Hi NicoC, nice to see you here my friend
@PGD: I never use 32bits TIF output but as NicoC said, it is possible. You can then use Camera RAW to tonemap the render instead of Fusion (free version is limited to resolution up to 4k HD only).
Also you can use RandomControl ArionFX, a nice plugin for PS: it is great for light blooms and glares plus it has a good tonemapping tool.

So is this the fusion software your using? http://fusion-hdr.com/home
Also, I can't see the option to open the 32bit Tiff file with the RAW editor - how are you guys opening these with the RAW editor? I've been looking, and changing prefereces of the raw editor but to no avail.

The RAW filter through Photoshop looks like you have to edit files one by one.
Downloaded Fusion now, so I'll have a play with that

This looks to work ok, and the process is similar to using the Camera RAW editor through Bridge. But, the beauty of using the RAW editor through bridge is that it's non destructive. I don't know if you've used it but it'll add a small icon to the thumbnail in bridge which indicates the file has been edited. You can then apply those edits to a string of other images. Say I've taken 20 photos of a building and wanted the same edit setting applying to them all for instance.. this can be done in just a couple of clicks

About editing "files one by one", don't forget you can batch process any action you want in Photoshop ... even from Bridge, that will open PShop batch module to proceed.
Have fun with Fusion !
btw, Thomas, I haven't found anything clear about Fusion free version limitations ... I'm more interested in Natron, but still interested in knowing what Fusion can propose now
