Some great ideas in there. I really like the modelling/rendering detail in the pencil.
Do you model these sorts of things at, for example 10x the size or 1:1?Kind Regards,
Richard Birket

Great job! Especially like the pencil at the beginning. Some of the fluid work looks a little glitchy, which is a shame given how large they are in the frame, but lovely overall.

The solution was to model it at 10x the size in CAD.Kind Regards,

Try setting your system units to mm, then import the original small CAD file. Then save, then merge that file into your usual meter file. Somehow that works fine
(Import, not file link)Kind Regards,

I know that the scene units can introduce problems in terms of the rounding errors that occur as you move further away from 0,0,0 but since you can stipulate how many max units are equal to the units you want to use, the units themselves are somewhat arbitrary I thought?
Anyway, we're derailing the thread a bit! I just find the idea of modelling something 'larger' crazy, because you can scale anything to any units or size you want.
