Hi everyone.
Well Da ´elf helped me much to overcome some bugs we found, using fakehighlights together with anisotrophic.
at last this project is finised. its a medicin machine for labratories. that has ended up in a multimedia CD with about 20 real film sequences and about 6 CG shots. there are many glossys, about 1000 000 polys, and animation.
i figured out, that single frame animation would have taken to long to rendere when we wanted to be flickerfree, and Direct computation together with lightmap in secoundary passes would have taken about 1 and a half hours each frame.
At last i did a flightthroug animation with incremental ad to current frame as if it was a flightthroug. I turned off all the animated things, and turned them on again after precalculation was ready for all non animated objects.
the lightning of all animated things is done with a freeware Script that makes a domelight. ("E-light"), that does a nice job.
At last each frame took between 17 and 22 minutes and you nearly cant see, thats not all gi.
again. Thanks Da Elf. It´s people like him, natty and many others that make this a nice place
a single immage from one of the animations.
and here the animations between 3.5 and 5 mb in half pal.
