Whats the map in the diffuse slot? is it similar to the dark gray materials falloff?

I clearly understood what you say DaForce... i'm talking of this:

There isn't any falloff for this material.

        I hope it's clear now!

hehehe i know what you are talking about.

But im am talking about the metal material (the one i just posted)

See how there is a map in the diffuse slot...what is it?

The on you are talking about is the glass, the one i just posted is the metal. As you can tell because there is not refraction

          I hope im clearer now.

          p.s. Thanks for the alpha

DaForce... you don't know what i'm talking about

The glass material has an alpha image for "uv filter - 001", the previous post contains the alpha channel for the metal material and it's under the glass. In fact you can see the diffraction at the edge of the glass that is over the sign.

The glass material has his alpha image and the metal material also, so the diffuse map you can see in the metal slot IS the alpha channel I posted before.

            DaForce, do you understand??

ahhhhhhh i understand now. The alpha map is actually on the metal....i though it was on the glass....sorry.

The metal looks like it has a bump for the brushed look. Or is that just to do with the ward?

Of course, metal has a bump map.

                  heheh thought so

Is it a simple black/white texture with cylindrical mapping or a procedural?

                  Thanks

Vergefio, sorry to insist, but I must ask if the lamp is ready to be turned on? I'd just love to see it "in action"...

                          Regards,
