    Re: green chairs

Yep. But that one looks bad - and if you plan to have it in the forground - you can't have a flat chair.

You inspired me to update my aside chair:

Not sure what you mean. Regardless, I prefer the Idrop ones from the herman miller site.

          Fran where's the update?
          Hi Tim,

Well, the client said my VRay renders looked "cartoonish", so I will switch back to radiosity for the rest of the project. My VRay skills are not ready for prime time, I guess.

You're kidding me??!! I thought the rendering was looking fantastic and certainly not cartoonish at all.

My skill w/ vray are not that great either, but I have nothing to fall back on, unless you count accurender, but I think we all know that that doesn't count.

Well good luck on the project. When you're finished I'd like to see it even if its not done with Vray.

              Clients

But, I agree, your radiosity renderings have a softer feel to it. More subtle shading, yes, yes. Something you can also do with Vray, but that will take a lot of rendering time (but still less then radiosity).

For anybody doubting me on this, go to Fran's website and look at her radiosity renders (and be silent).

i have to agree, looking at the images done with radiosity...they are extreemly good. but..im sure you(fran) will do very well with vray.

I think you vray images are awesome and the quality is pretty close to radiosity imho
