    nice work! (as always...)

    about the grain... Im a bit of a newbie, but Ive found that mats like stainless steel (and other stuff with lots of glossy reflection) render less noisy with the adaptive subdivision image sampler than the adaptive QMC...

      about the strong grain , maybe if you increase the Quasi-Monte Carlo subvids get a better result.

        The four cylinders at the top are a little offset/ skewed or something. My eye keeps going back to them.

        IMHO, there is too much ambient light and no shadow detail. If that light were on, it would be casting some shadows from it's housing. I can't decide if the light is on or if you're just shining another light up into it.

          Natty, as long as I understood you use only HDRI as lighting, so the problem for the graininess is not a low light subdivs - did you try to render just a small region with glossy subdivs on 40 or 50?

            Hi Tisho ...

            there was no HDRI Lighting used, just for reflections only.
            a vray light was used plus vray enviroment.
