Slow and noisy - strange

Hi,

I found something weird:

My card is overclocked to 2GHz. I test it in some GPU benchmark and one game and it really works at 2GHz. BUT when I render in RT GPU, it shows only 1,7 GHz, just the base clock, not even boost completely ignor OC. Wher is a problem?

Install msi afterburner (that one and not any other)
OC with it and let us know if it works

But nvidia inspector keeps crashing, so I leave it for now.

Why would it be a joke?
MSI afterburner is the one that can overclock for my from the UI and is rock solid, and I tried a lot of different softwares

Yes, but read the whole thread. This software overclock for games, not for GPGPU computing. And I have Gigabyte, so I use gigabyte software, which is great.

I did read the thread, and like I said, I tried few different overclocking soft including evga precision and use nvidia inspector for few months with a lot of pain to oc my GPUs but when I used MSI Afterburn it ODed perfectly my titan X for computing. (don't know about games, never installed any).
Doesn't matter what brand your GPU is, any OC software works for the GPUs.

I guess the gigabyte one is the same as the MSI one just with a different UI.

Maybe I will try. Gigabyte has different UI of course, but it not works for computing

And one more discover: new NVidia driver 372.54 works great!
