              Nope

Im pretty sure it will be early next week tho.
Mind you I could have gotten a 4200 last week (or the week before cant remember) but i wanted to wait for the 4400 cause of the larger cache.

Yeah i am having trouble getting my proc too.
                Have to wait 2 weeks!!
Could have got the 4600 or the 4800, but cant justify the extra cost.

2 weeks hey, where you get it from?
Yeah the price hike for the 4600/4800 definitly isnt worth it. Cause with a very small overclock the 4200/4400 match the more expensive cards.

I am about to order my X2 4400, but haven't decided on a motherboard.

I don't plan to over clock, and I won't be using two cards (SLI). I plan to have 2 gigs of DDR400 (probably more later on), and I need a PCI-e slot for my video card.

What would be a good mobo for me? I'm not up with the latest hardware and don't know how to choose which mobo is right for me.

Thanks, sorry for bringing back this post

Asus make a damn good mobo.

Persoanlly i went for the DFI, sure its SLI and one of the more expensive, but i plan on OC a little, and like a solid board.

This should help you decide greatly!!

Oh and for socket 939 (which is what the x2 is) I wouldnt touch anything other than a nforce4 chipset based board. See the link above for mass review.

wow, there are so many choices! lol! I just want something that is going to be stable and rock solid.

I haven't upgraded hardware in a long time, I remember names like Asus, Abit and Gigabyte. I have never heard of DFl, from the looks of it in this article it seems to be quite a good choice. I think I'll go with DFl

thanks guys Can't wait to get the new machine running

What kind of power supply are you guys running? And what wattage?

yeah the DFI is great, and cause they overclock so well you know they are using the best components.

For PSU's i have an Antec 550w, one of the best PSU's around.
But make sure you get a good powersupply!
550w is probabaly more than most people need, but i have 6 HDD"s, burners, and a hungry video. Plus with PSU"s i go with the more is better theory. You can never have too much power.
