    jow:
    Good hehehe
Just look around the net, should be plenty of sites. Also in the updated benchmark thread Serge posted a link to a site of about 38pages of OC information for X2's. Gotta be something usefull in there for you.

The whole capital thing start way back when Percy yelled Capital!! at your because you spelt his name with a lower case "p"
Then jacksc02 spelt my name with all lower case instead of the usual capital D and F so I though I too would tell Capital.
    Kinda silly

Hunh, and I thought Percy was saying "Capital" as in well done on the overclocking to Jow not anything to do with his name! HEHE!

Cool cool well dont forgot to post your findings.

Im gonna have a tinker on the weekend just after i work out why my machine is so damn noisy... I have a feeling its the PSU fans, gotta slow them down somehow.

                    bit of an update,
pushed FSB to 218 and volts to 1.425 and got 2406mhz,render time of 5.30.5secs. temp. 42c.
kinda weird, the txt display at end of render says 3168mhz!!
gonna try Percys other benchtest to see how high the temps go....

Chris, hows your rig coming on?and everybody else for that matter.

ps.just ordered another x2 to the delight of the missus!!!
went for the 4200,no where has got any 4400s for a couple of weeks, well who i tried any way, sound familiar!!!!

nice little speed bost ya got there
Yeah the text display is odd, cause Vray tries to calculate the mhz by itself so sometimes it gets odd numbers.

My rig is still ticking along nicely, gonna OC abit this weekend aming for over 2.5ghz to start with.

                      heheh 2 x2's....nice

                              Chris,

Did you ever up your cpu voltage at all when you overclocked?

god knows what happened to mine yesterday....
went to bios and upped the FSB to 2198 and the volts to 1.425 as before, for a good benchtest.any way i booted windows and it went straight into a checkdisk/scandisk,got half way through and then crashed!!! so i reset the bios and rebooted, it would get to the first windows screen and then crash.
i tried allsorts to fix it,in the end i reinstalled windows, which fixed the issue..

didnt realise OCing could cause problems like this.....
