No I added it for better airflow! The card seems never to peak over 64C

ahh ok.. I might have to get one of those for myself.
My case is pretty airy and has 2 120mm fans and 2 92mm fans. And all the cables are heat.

How quite is that unit and what brand/model is it so i can look into getting one?

The Card is a EVGA 7800GT I got it when EVGA offered a free 939 Socket Mobo which I run my Athlon 64 4000+ on...you can see it under my rig section.... But the card is the 2nd fastest clocked GT on the market # 1 being the Battlefield 2 edition...

          http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16814130238

But the card runs every game I have at Ultra High with No hiccups, at ideal ir runs around 45C and at hours of gaming it might peak in the mid 60C...but that isn't all that often. To be honest I can't here the damn fan at all. I mean I had to check and make sure it was even spinning. And it was...quite as a mouse...... I would defiantly recommend this card to any user who is all about high end.
          Thanks

I have er should say had 2 of those "socket coolers" and if you sit any where near the case I would not recomend it. You can adjust the speed on it but on low its not verry efficient. I ended up modding the side pannel in my case and installed a 80mm Vantec Stealth fan and its much better. Also the only reason I put that in is to cool the plates on the back of my 7800GTX as they do get quite hot.

              Mathew Everett:
hehe i was talking about the PCI cooler.
              I already have a Leadtek 7800GTX
Thats the suckah that gets hot. Frames dont seem quite as high as i would have hoped, not sure if its the card or something...meh..
What do you get in 3dmark05 with that card dude?

              Syclone1:
Yeah i sit right next to the case...and its noisy enough with my PSU. So adding noise probabaly aint such a good idea.

Heres a link to a local reseller about the "fan card" http://www.memoryexpress.com/index.p...4167&SID=30191

                <EDIT>

Also in the specs, 25db@17cfm on the lowest setting is a little excessive...

Hmmm i would have expected better performance from it...and its pretty noisy hey.

Might try some case re-arrangements to get more airflow.
