np...for options to be added like chamfering etc, i'd have to rescript it in a more elegant way...as currently it is as bruteforce as it could be...hence adding a single chamfer only would be a PIA hehehe...got too little time those days to do that kinda stuff sorry :/

for simple scripted geometry stuff this is actually a good sample...as it contains all that is needed and not a tad more...so it´s rather easy to understand. Basically all you do is set Vertices to be created, wich vertices form faces, and provide mouse controls for creation time.

how is it simpler than a spline with sweep modifier?
the problem with scripted primitives is that they just disappear when you open the scene in a few years and lost the .ms file.Marc Lorenz

But I compare it to using Photoshop without knowing the shortcuts. Some people use them - some people don't. I pity those that don't.
