Although in the dvd hairfx was used, i tried the same spline guides method with hairandfur and worked very well.My Youtube VFX Channel - http://www.youtube.com/panthon

Hair shmair!
I just cut my own hair off; or if I need another colour, head down to the local mall and start guerilla snipping. Anyway I tape it to the screen and it looks pretty realistic to me!
If I need another style, hairspray and comb works great! I have yet to figure animation out though. This is under heavy RND!

I worked all afternoon . . . blood, swet, and tears I tell you, and have come up with the perfect dynamics simulation for my hair "plug-in" for Max, or, as I like to call it, a "tape-on".
Everyone hold there breath! A fan. It has amazing accuracy and 3 speeds: slow, medium, and hurricane!
Now for the animation part . . .
I think once I get this resolved I will try and sell this innovative solution to Autodesk.
Think they'll buy?rpc212
