Nice model - very nice poly count! and great renders. Love that water! We may have to do some 'negotiation' over your 'donation' when I start the large yacht collection.

Here's a quick update on the Ferretti 731.....

          .....tada!..... the completed Ferretti model

          Model size = 1.3mb

Again, the mesh quality is controlled via mesh-smooth. This was set at 2 for these renders.

Now on to the next one.

The Ferretti brochure shows it as all grp. Same for the sun deck. I know what you mean though, would look a little more classy with teak.

Are you going to have the red/green/white lights on them for night scene renderings? I just recently completed a night shot over a lake and boat lights really added to the overall look.

                          Looking good so far!

On a side note, does anyone know of someplace that has a good model of a pontoon? In case anyone doesn't know what this is, http://www.boatrental.addr.com/bently%20pontoon.jpg

                            Thanks everyone for the encouragement!

Gilpo - I've got the enclosures for the lights on the Ferretti, but completely over looked them on the 53' sail boat. I'll add them on to the model and make sure there are some correctly coloured omni lights in the right places. Sorry, can't help with the 'pontoon'.

Due to high popular demand here's a revised deck for the Ferretti.

                                Just a quick update.

Progress is painfully slow currently, but here is a pic of the Oyster62 as it stands at the moment.

I'm thinking it could be an idea to sell these models on an individual basis just in case I never get to a complete set! Hopefully the website will be up and running within a couple of months.

                                Rob.
