Well that tutorial helped me out to get things started.
However, it was written a while ago, before 1.5 came out. And before LWF. (do a search on the forum for that)
So not all settings still apply i think. But the principles are still the same.

Another tip I can give you is buy the dvd's of Christopher Nichols. I have the Global Illumination: interiors. It has learned me alot about the principles too.
    check http://www.thegnomonworkshop.com/dvds/cni02.html

To create the lighting like the pic, I think the lighting setup would be
    - VrayLightMtl for the lighting at the top in the wall
    - Target spot with inverse square decay or IES (tutorial on Evermotion for that)

As they said, there's no one solution to all problems.

    Hope this helps.

      Hello VKNT,
      Thanks for your reply!

I already bought both Chrises DVD's...

I already used for hidden lights at the top Vray Light material. One interesting thing, maybe a key thing, is Inverse Square parameter. I did not use that yet. I will try it

Well, if you allready bought them, take a look at Chapter 4 of Interiors DVD. That's when he explains inverse square falloff..
