eheh lovely to see at work, finally.
And a sneaky VRayIES light type visible for a few seconds under the VRay light types.
One simple question: what rig(s) was this captured on?
Was it rendering on the single PC, or DRing it out?

just, wow, can't stop smiling watching this!
      amazing.
can't wait - this will revolutionise the way I work.

      Amazing stuff vlado.

Again, only questions are when will i be able to do this, and how many machines working together to produce that?

      VrayIES....sweet...

...that may or may not use the GPU. It actually turns out that... it's just a matter of speed.

I read this as a mixed message.
Definitely not all in GPU (as far as raytracing is concerned), if speed for a given quality is the issue.

                looks really cool.

                one question though...

Could this be used to render previews for animations? So say I was working on an interior, could it be set up to render one frame in a user defined time period, say 10 secs per frame?

Or...could PPT be setup in much the same way, instead of having Subdivs could it be set up to use an amount of time instead?

Looks like its come along nicely since last shown a refrence for what it was rendered on would be nice, but I can understand if you dont want to go to address the speed questions yet with beta stuff

A suggestion, or a 'it would be nice if:' Would it make sense to add a setting to allow the activeshade to update only the selected objects' viewport rect? sort of a region selected when only doing Material adjustments and there are no view/lighting changes? sort of a toggle-able setting to even more quickly adjust mats in an overall rough fashion?
