Well - switched to windows vista sp1 -=- it sucks. Really. I'm starting to hate it. Can you imagine - sometimes vista can't even allow me to manually close hang program! While server 2008 does exactly what I want. And I hate lots of useless services in vista. So for me the choice is server platform.
Oh and forgot - by default this stupid vista won't allow you to open some system folders (server allows!) until you won't enable yourself as an administrator (in server you're already a GOD for OS).... and well... defender, useless firewall, 1.2GB after fresh install and so on.
BTW - I hate dx10 in max 2009 with nvidia beta drivers (ah love betas ) - it just doesn't work as you expected... at all.
So only server platform is a really working one among new generation of windoze oses. Of course for those, who need DA POWER, not UAC! :P
P.S. So now I'm going to upgrade to server 2008 enterprise from my 2003 enterprise.
I just can't seem to trust myself
So what chance does that leave, for anyone else?
