    we've been using it here at crytek since release - it has the strange habit of simply crashing out with no warning whatsoever - just dissapears. you decide!

    oh no sorry you cant decide can you, its not backwards compatible is it!

      Im finding max 2010 pretty stable for my uses. I have vray installed (obviously) and 4 other machines that I use for DR. All runs nice and smoothly.

      The graphite modelling tools can be turned off and I then use the main toolbar to the right (just like max 2009).

      The thing I find annoying is the graphite tooltips that keep popping up even though you can turn tooltips off in preferences..

        If you have lots of crashes, try uninstalling the free colorcorrect plugin.
        It can also crash if you display to many maps and procedural textures at once or go above 250 mb filesizes (uncompressed).
        Reflect, repent and reboot.
        Order shall return.
