i remember the same guy who did the sponza and the sibnik models (forgive the spelling, its been a while since i looked at them) also did a very hard bank with glossy glass roof. this can be a good test

this was way back when vray 1st introduced glossy reflections/refractions to the game. possibly back before there was a vray material and we used the vray map for that. not sure. maybe someone can remember

I had a go at the bank in Austria.
I used lots of glossy refraction, and very soft shadows.
I didn't do a very good job but at 9 hours render time I didn't have time to keep working on it

if anyone remembers that cloister that ppl used to use to test the other renderers (plz dont ban me for saying that), i remodelled it so that the columns actually sit on the ground and all else, would everyone be willing to try and use that?5 years and counting.

Well, I know a person that works at the Mies fundation... Probably she could help us providing some blueprints or digital files if available.
Just please decide if we are going to do this pavillion for the contest, and then I will talk to her.
