If you get this system upgrade the fans on the cooler to Noctua SSO Bearing Fan Cooling NF-P14s redux-1500 PWM. They are much quieter and more efficient. If you're using it as a render node you could skip the video card and save some money. I've been running this at 4.2 Ghz. In the winter when my house is 68f here in Michigan I run it at 4.4Ghz. Their stock OC is real solid. I think it came in around 3.8 Ghz. It'll be my main WS. I already have a 970GTX; would it be worth it to have 2? I mean, can VRay RT use both, if they are the same. I haven't used RT, other than rotating my HDRI and 1/2 the time it doesn't work.

Yes you can use multiple cards for RT in the same machine, just dont SLI them if you do add more than one. Other than that it works great for me with using 2 card in a single box and for DR as well.

**edit** if you don't use RT that much then I wouldn't bother with a second card and put that money in a faster CPU or a little more ram or a bigger M.2 drive to run the OS and such from (M.2 is much faster than SSD)...

Glad to hear it. I'm happy with mine. The last one I got from them 4 years ago is still going strong.
