Anybody else making the jump to Affinity Photo ? It never ceases to amaze !

Thats good to hear, I was thinking of getting it for my iPad Pro 12.9" as I have the pencil too and think it might be fun for editing photos and renders on it.

I must say that I did get affinity for my iPadPro 12.9" and so far seriously impressed and that's with just going through the tutorial files. there of course is going to be a learning curve for me as Ive used PS since Version 2.0 but so far Im really liking it especially with the ability to use the apple pencil with it!

Since one of the latest updates to Photoshop disabled being able to use the camera raw filter on a smart layer in 32-bit, we're done with Adobe. It's clear that they've lost their marbles and are focusing solely on Photography and adjusting everything in LightRoom at this point. The pain is that we still need other various Adobe Products like InDesign and After Effects so we have to keep our full CC suite still.

Yup same here, if I didn't need AE and AP, LR and ID I would drop Adobe all together which I am starting to look around at alternates but I have a bunch of assets from Videocopilot for AE that I use which is a bit of a let down as I don't think most of them will work in anything but AE.

I'm using it for some time now and I would say that it's way better than Photoshop....at the beginning was I little bit difficult to use because I had my mind set in Photoshop but after few days everything made sense.

Just renewed my adobe sub but will get this soon. Hopefully they will have some blackfriday deals aswell. Not really bothered about the free stuff with the current deal. Will give the year to move over, hopefully they can get arionFX to work in 32bit in the meantime.

Yea, it's pretty nice. I use it maybe 30% of the time. For a lot of jobs I have to deliver PSD output to the client as this is what they work with otherwise I would use it more often. There are still some things here and there that you'll still need PS for but it's really almost there now. It's especially useful for working with 32-bit files as you would with 8-bit files which Photoshop can't do.

I have been liking Affinity a lot and so much that I got their Designer app as well and although I have only used it a little bit it could replace Illustrator for me like Affinity is doing for Photoshop.

Was just going to post this, thanks! Bought Photo. Will have hopefully migrated to it in a couple of months so I can cancel my adobe sub next year.

Hopefully ArionFX will start working with it in 32bit, or if there are any alternatives for Affinity I'd like to hear it!
