Max v2.2 nightly: Destruction Dust and Fine Debris [09 October 2014]
Everything in this setup you can do with Phoenix 2 you can also do with Phoenix 3
Let's start from the beginning and step by step you'll get there. You need to fix your simulation first before you start adjusting render settings.
The shape of the smoke does not look like the tutorial video and this seems caused by slow moving fragments. The movement of the fragments is the most important thing in your setup because they are carrying the fluid.
If I see correctly, the fragments are moving too slow and they cannot leave the same traces of dust like in the tutorial. Speed them up so they will be at this position at frame 10, then run the sim again.
What I can see is that before you had Motion Vel, and this way the moving fragments will push the Phoenix smoke and particles, and now it's off.
Also, your 'Outgoing velocity' is 10mm - that's 1cm per second, so the smoke and particles emit off the surface of the fragments but are almost not accelerated at all.
