  • Black Bubble/Foam

    Hi Guys,

No matter what I do the bubbles are totally black? Litted with HDRI.

    The newest downloadable Phoenix.

    Hey,

If you go into the V-Ray Object Properties of the Particle shader - are "Generate and Receive GI" options on?
Are the particles rendering black if you use V-Ray Sun or another type of light?

      Hey,

Yes even with Sun and Sky it is still black I am not sure why it is happening. GI options are on.

Did a quick test with simple scene and default Phoenix Preset and still the same? I am using the phoenixFD_trial_31200_max2019_defscanline_x64 with the full online licence. Do you think this might be a problem?

Can you share the scene with a single cache so we can take a look?

        Thank you,

The scene seems to be rendering fine in here with both V-Ray Next and 3.60.04. What version of V-Ray are you using?

Can you send us the V-Ray and Phoenix Log files - if you open the Simulator settings there is a Preferences button - from there you can locate the Phoenix log file.

For V-Ray under Settings tab there is a Log location.

            Thanks,

                Hey,

For rendering with V-Ray make sure to get the Phoenix FD build for V-Ray Next, you're using the defscanline build.
