    Hi guys, i have a question, i had a smoke sim and i have forgot to turn on the particles in emiter, and also i did wavelet too

    so is there a way to create these particles after all this, and not to simulate it again?

    thx

          when i hit start i got only this

          // PhoenixFD: Preallocating 0 million cells (0 MB) .
          // PhoenixFD: Simulation output will be saved to 'C:\Users\bazuka\Documents\maya\projects\default\d ata\phx_heavysmoke.ma_Phoenix2_frames\@PhoenixFDSi m1@PhoenixFDSimulator1_resim'. Frames 1-150.
          currentTime 1 ;
          // Warning: Phoenix FD: End of velocity data for resimulation! //
          // PhoenixFD: Simulation stopped.

            yes, it's from the resimulate rollout. I'm not sure what you will get with this build however . The nighly builds from the last 2 months are not recommended. Better get a stable nightly or wait for the next nighty if you want the latest features from 3ds Max.

              Did you export the velocity channel? You must export it in order to work with resimulation.

                      Hi guys,

                      i have some questions based on particles,

                      when i export particles from phoenix and make the particle system (in maya) i dont see the emiter seed options?

                      i would like to multiply particles with krakatoa, but for this i will need emiter seed, for some reason its gone...

                        forgot to add, most of the things are not even controllable? like lifespan, PP attribs, etc...

                          It's just export. PhoenixFD acts like a particle cache. You can only add extra attributes like radius, color, opacity. If you want emiter, use PhoenixFD Emitter http://www.spot3d.com/phoenix_maya_2...ix_emitter.htm

                              In the last nightly, Phoenix particles can have lifespan also. I suppose we can take into an account the parameter in the nParticle node also. In case you want to shrink the life as a post-process.
