Ok... I think there are some fundamentals missing in your thinking.

Why do you keep saying things like I have no light just one VRayLight?

First, a VRayLight IS a light. When I ask you what is it set at I'm asking for the PARAMETERS of your light. There aren't as many parameters as a standard MAX point light but they are still important.

I agree with losbellos... Where is the problem in that image other than the fact that you have a lot of light so the light bounces to other areas.

The last few images look fine for a small room which basically has one wall as a window.

Show a photograph of the lighting you want to achieve.

Draw some arrows to the areas of your image that bother you.

is there an emoticon that pulls out a gun and shoots itself in the head out of utter confusion?

hey pretty close... I was going for more of a nonchalant "pulls out this gun while never changing expression and pops a cap in his ass..."

Clode, don't misinterpret what they're saying They aren't talking about shooting you, it's just frustrating trying to understand what you're saying and I don't think it's so much the bad English. Try some good illustrations, we're all pretty visual people on this forum.

in a minutes, i'll upload an image with the parameteres of the vray ligth

and i want this effects on the edges of geometry (from some tutorial, not my image)

                  the edges looks darkness....

I think allot of it has to do with the actual structure. You have one entire wall as a window. Do some tests with other rooms and you'll start to see this effect. I'm not saying it will look exactly like that but with some tweaking it will come.

It could well be a scale issue, I don't work in metric but those measurements seem off.

First of all, my english is bad i know.
but anyway, y really want to say thank's for the help, i dont misinterpret the thing about the soot

                          well, answers.....

when i do some similar images like the tutorial of NATTY, y have similars results....

this is the configuration of the vray light

i think that the AREA 1 must be DARKNESS
and the AREA 2, only has indirect light, and has a lot of ilumination.....

and the brick texture is blurr, i dont know why.....i cant resolve it.

and of course, to have shadows like if i got direct sun inside de room, i must add another light, is it?

Try the VRayLight Mult @ 3, HSph. subdivs @ 20, use LightCache, set Primary bounces Mult @ 1.0. Skylight may be mute with that light in the way. Not sure how it was working with 1.45.70.

BTW, you're obviously using VRay Adv.... Why aren't you posting this in the Registered users General section?
