  • How to render effects correctly in the region

hi, I'm rendering cube 6x1 renderings, I'm rendering with regions (-region=x0; y0; x1; y1 -crop=x0; y0; x1; y1) set the rendering and cropping area of an image, half of an image,
and then the result is very different, in terms of image flare performance。
I don't understand why flare has a dividing line in the middle of the image.

In addition, not only is there a big difference in the performance of flare,
I tried to turn off flare for testing,
there is a big difference in brightness between zonal rendering and full rendering,
which will cause me to be unable to merge two images of separate areas into a perfect picture again,

Is there any way to support zonal rendering and have the glare of VFB ?

Hi, thanks for posting. Are you using V-Ray GPU or V-Ray CPU? What host application are you using (for example is it 3ds Max)? Try to render with Brute Force as secondary GI engine instead of Light Cache and let us know how it goes.

      Hi, thanks for the reply.
I use V-Ray CPU, standalone installer.

Hi, could you share the scene with us for review? If you could simplify it and send a smaller scene that still reproduces the issue this will accelerate the process a great deal. Please use the support contact form and include a link to this thread in your e-mail.

Hi, sorry for the slow reply, I prepared a vrscene that can reproduce the problem, for Linux, did not collect texture information, but in fact, the main source of the problem is the glare effect of the emissive material, so it does not affect the reproduction problem.
I tried to set up the render in two areas (-region=0; 0; 3600; 1200), and the glare effect would have noticeable cracks.
