maybe they meant all the materials... notice there is an S in here post.

Nothing there looks all that difficult to be honest. But some clarification as to what you want would be great.

            click on

click on '' Photos '' to see the kind of product. It will be more easy to see the kind of material. It's a plastic mesh.... with depth...

If you already have the opacity map texture, then I'll say go with vray displacement.
Hint : adjust the water level setting in vraydisplacement.

Other than that, you can always just model it in max (maybe renderable spline?). Same trouble if you start from scratch.

edit: some illustration for the displacement setting:

                Hi jodestroy,

I had to use this material for a project last year, I think I used opacity mapping on a thin box then added a noise modifier for a bit of variation.

                I used this map anyway...

                Hope it helps,

i agree the displacement method is going to be your best bet to getting this done

                      best way

finally, the best way to do it is .... Spline ( line ) with radius. Enable in viewport and renderer . Like that no displacement to use ( i think it's too time consuming with pc ) i can reduce it or not if the client ask.
                      thnaks for the help

I would not use displacement for something this easy to model. By taking a bit of time and modeling the shape out in splines quickly you'll easily save the time in rendering x 10 instead of displacing it.
