I like to take the tools that I typically just hot-key in and change them to more humorous images...New=baby head, open=store open sign, save=sale sticker, cut=chop saw, copy=twins from the shining, paste=Elmer's logo
I redid my whole toolbar layout a few months ago. Most of them reused the standard Rhino ones, but the Icons for Monkey and Explicit History I thought it came out interesting...
Unfortunately, no...I just did a google image search for monkey and sorted through them until I found one that would be suitable for an icon, shrank it and there you go. It was a toy I think though, so probably could be modeled and rendered.
testseparatemapping: if more than one object share the same mapping, because you select a group of objects and assign a mapping, than the mapping of the objects is dependent, you can't change the mapping of a single object only. This test command allow to separate the mapping, so that it is independent.
FYI, if you copy an object with an existing mapping they are also linked. This is one of those "gotchas" with mapping, so you might want to make a copy w/o mapping button
Also, with the aperture script there's a little grey area of how it works. Basically, I don't know whether the aperture value is the radius, diameter, or area of the aperture. I asked Joe, and he didn't know. I say this because, I think that the script isn't adding enough aperture. Right now its reporting back the radius, but from my testing, I don't think that this is correct. However, I do a lot of camera work with wider angle lenses, so that negates some if it. So if anyone can chime in on that it would be greatly appreciateded. IE for a given F-stop setting is the DOF what would be expected or is it not enough
I searched back in the Chaosgroup forum. you can easily find when looking for aperture in combination with my name. The question has never been answered by Vlado unfortunately, but Torgeir mentioned that it was radius.
so for 50 mm camera, f-stop of f/2 means aperture should become 12.5mm (radius)
in that case, it seems your script gives back the diameter, not the radius.

Is it possible to save a PNG with the batch render script? I'm finding that the file format listed as "pong" which I though might have been PNG, is saving 2 .BMP's, one which is just the alpha channel. Is there some variable I'm missing? Thanks.
No need to bug David...I made the change in the script so pngs will work now. I also added the two V-Ray supported formats that weren't there HDR and EXR. Just copy and paste as is into the text button and you should be good.
