Hello,
I have a lot of experience modeling in 3ds max 5/6 but am having a lot of issues getting nice renders using the default scanline renderers. I see so many posts of people posting their great photorealistic cars, scenes, etc. but i haven't been able to achieve these and i just got the demo version of Vray and the free version as well. Any ideas on how to get started in achieving these results? for example, lighting the robot on the vray page (top of the screen) - I can model it just fine, but the final renders look flat and uninteresting. Is this a lighting thing or is it just the scanline renderer is not good enough? any tips would be appreciated..
thanks!
