my vray doesn't have a lightmap thing
which version do i need
is it 1.45 version
is it shipping

You have a list menu in the GI rolout, where you can choose between different GI methods for 1st and 2nd bounces. Default is Irradiance and QMC.

Depends on which version of vray you have ... you can now download the new version from the vray site.

i think it doesn't have this feature of chosing between different GI methods
