Ok i worked what your doing wrong.

You are applying it to the first layer (which is usually locked) you first need to select the parts of the image that you want to glow...windows areas, highlight areas...etc... then copy those selections and paste into a new layer, then select the new layer (with the areas that you want to glow) and run nattys action on that layer. Should work fine.

I was able to reproduce your error by trying to run the script on the base/locked layer.

I really like the specular bloom script in MAX....its easy to over do it though. I usually use the interactive mode to get it the way i want.

Another method in MAX is to use Lens Effects, Glow and set it to Unclamp under Options.

interesting plugin...looking forward to try this. i usually copy the parts i want to glow several times in to new layers( in psd) and change the blending modes using for example linear dodge on the new layers at last adding some lens if i want it to be be more spectacular. [/img]
