im working on using the VRAY MATERIAL Finally
and while trying to get better wood and floors with the glossy feature and after several takes on a floor for just a basic 12x12 interior, no matter what setting i did for the glossy parameter, whether .9 .8 .7 or .1 i always got the same result. after reading your settings, i saw that you said reflection RGB setting 32. so i was looking for that setting, but could not find where to set my RGB equal to 32. so i set each value at 32, behold my material slot began to reflect the background.
can you explain what that setting is, the proper way to evaluate different settings, and was it correct to set each r, g, and b to 32, or what? Also even with glossy on 1.0 because i adjusted the reflect diffuse color, it changed the material. Is there a help topic over the RGB values with Vray and how they affect the material.
Thanks in advance,
