SO good news, it's working with this nightly build !!
One question, it's took many times to render point particles with vray, when it's taking only 5 seconds with Krakatoa and the same quality .
what are the best vray parameters to rendering this fast ? i only need to render the smoke on a black background because i will make the comp in after effect .
thanks you a lot for the bug fix

see the attached images, all they are looking equally except the times
3:20
21.6
7.7
the first render is 26 times slower than the last one
what is the difference between them?
first, the steam is very transparent and does not need self shadowing. so, if it's possible disable the lighting at all. this accelerates the rendering 10 times.
but this is not all that you can do. the point shader produces natural anti aliasing when the content has low optical density, in your case this is true. so you can replace the adaptive image sampler with fixed one and to disable any AA from vray. this gives you three times acceleration and so we dropped from 200 seconds to 7.7 seconds______________________________________________
