Hi! This was not happening a few versions ago, I could not say exactly when it started.... but look at what happens if I render distributed. It does not happens with other projects that doe not have PhoenixFD. Of course, if I render only local it goes fine. There are no textures, and all the machines can acccess the path of the cache.

And I loaded the demo scene of the ship, and that renders fine distributed.... Jezz.... is like this project is jinxed.... it feels like I'm never going to be able to get it done. When one thing start working, another one gets broken... I'm going to restar the restart the render nodes and see if that makes any difference

here are two images, the local only, and the slaves only. One thing I noticed is that the render of the slaves only takes about 10 times what the local only, and they are similar machines, and 6, so something is pretty wrong to make 6 machines take longer to render than a single local one.
Also, if you take a look, motion blur is OFF on the render dialog, still by just being on on the camera settings makes the software to render with motion blur, isnt that a bug??

about the mb - it's not a bug, this motion blur option is used when you have no camera with mb, for example if you render directly from the viewport.
the slave image looks like broken mesh, this explains why it is longer, the broken mesh produces long triangles that slow down the accelerating tree.
can you give me more details
- is it happening on every frame, or just one/few frames?
- is it reproducible when the motion blur is off?
- is it reproducible when the camera is moved to other position?
and can you send me the phoenix log of the remote machine after rendering with the bug? you can find the log in C:\PhoenixFD______________________________________________

yes, it can be reproduced on every frame, yes it happens with motion blur off, and yes, I orbited the camera to another position and it does the same thing. Although yu start seeing the problem more as the camera goes down and you start seeing the part of the mesh that is constructed by the ocan shader and ocean mode. there is a very distinctive patern on the geometry that is broken.
By the way, the scene I posted on the other thread, is the same one that have this problem.
I'll upload the lon in a second

Let us also know the exact versions of Phoenix FD , V-Ray , 3DSMax that you are using.
