  • Has the sun disk disappeared from V-Ray GPU again?

I can't see it any more in the latest version, at least when using clouds, and regardless whether the sun is obstructed by clouds or not.

Can you attach a simple scene? Work fine here.

If it was that easy, it would have already been done

If the sky map is in a dome, the sun disk won't show up, it works fine on CPU.

Isn't putting the sky map in a dome the recommended workflow (at least for speed)?

Ok. I put the sky map in a dome. This explains that. Should the dome then be made invisible?

Eh yes, you could get around it by making the dome invisible, duplicating the sky map in the BG, and then turning the environment GI override to black (so you don't get double sky lighting).
              It should be fixed, though.

I got confused by the "again" part in the thread title, because I don't remember seeing it in a Dome light in GPU before.
