      Sounds good..

But when will the "limeted time only" price expire? Hopefully it will be AFTER the trial version is out.

The demo version will be available at the same time as the official release.

For a few months at least; there will be an announcement before it runs out.

Best news since sliced bread...huge step for mankind kindastuf...
I have been using FPrime for Lightwave since the beginning and it has been the greatest advancement in setting up scenes exactly how you imagine them...

Wonder if proxies are supported !

Thats a great news, but I think it would have been better to incorporate it in vray with a paying upgrade than creating a new product.

I would expect it to be a part of the vray renderer in the future, would be less confusing imho as I can't see how I would buy vray without that awesome feature.

nice work, hopefully we will see some demo videos soon!

awesome news. Though I suspect some grumbling that you can't try the demo without first owning a vray license. No problem of mine though. /hugs his dongle.

Great news Vlado. You guys rock.

A few questions regarding that page:

                            1) Does everything need to be converted to meshes?
                            2) Does this support VrayDisplacement?
                            3) Does this support VrayMeshLights?

Also, it would be great if we could get an updated video preview as well.

1: Nope. All normal geometry is supported. (VRayProxies is not yet)
                              2: Nope
                              3: Not yet

VRayDisplacement would be too time consuming to calculate to make much sense for a realtime system. MeshLight support will be added later.

I've been considering recording some tutorials for it if Vlado is okay with it?
