I thought the materials were supposed to be interchangeable? Shouldn't I be able to toggle between renderers and not have to convert my materials each time?

I would have thought that by this time the conversion works but whenever i convert corona material to vray, i get a mess. Especially happens with foliage models. Ill post a sample here when i get a chance. In some case conversion doesnt work at all and you have to reset. I wonder how it works the other way round, converting vray to corona.Martin

For Corona :
https://coronarenderer.freshdesk.com...are-supported-
For V-Ray:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rWaQNFghMKs
You will notice both are WIP and with a very precisely laid out scope.
So, if you were outside of those bounds, you're currently out of luck.
If that wasn't the case, please provide support for a scene to look into.Lele

With that said, I’d be happy to look into any scenes that are causing you problems.
Best regards,

I guess I assumed I could open a Corona scene and render it in V-Ray or a V-Ray scene and render it in Corona. For instance, If I purchased a model that was for Corona and place it in my V-Ray scene, it'll just render black until I convert it. I have a few scenes that I can't render in V-Ray GPU so I am using Corona, but I have a lot of materials to replace.Bobby Parker

What do you use weekly? My original understanding is you will be able to switch between renderers without the need for any kind of conversion. Open in V-Ray, render and done. Open in Corona, render and done, all with 100% compatibility. I am not fussing, I am just trying to dial in my expectations.Bobby Parker

Okay, thank you for the clarification. Yes, running the converter converts most, however, not all. The NEXT promise was no conversion is needed.Bobby Parker
