  • Just some small Questions about VrayAsset Browser, Renderelements, LightMix

    Hello,

    just some small questions:

    1. Materials from Vray Asset Library display always in the Materiial Editor with an UV checker Map ("UnwrapChecker")
Where is that assigned, what has it to do with them?

    2. What is the RE "vrayScansPMaskelement" ? I could not find a purpose or information about it

    3. I remember that VrayEdges was used for round corners rendering (putting this into a bump slot)
Is this still valid or was there in the meantime a different way to achieve round corners without bevel?

    4. Vray LightMix: Can I get in render as a separate pass also the basic "standard" Lighting? So that I get different versions, one tweaked and one untweaked?

Sorry to throw this all into one thread,
    thanks

For the scans, it's here in docs https://docs.chaosgroup.com/display/...nsPMaskElement

Vray edgestex is the rounded corner bump you mean...still there

Light mix is just one of the views. You can switch between rgb. light mix and composite in the vfb on the right if you have the Light Mix selected in the layers list.

The uvchecker is to do with the unwrapUVW modifier, so should only show up if that is applied and set viewable.
