the mobo only has 4 mem slots. That means I either had to go 4 gig or 8 gig... who the hell can afford 8 gigs of memory...not me...

So.... Here we are again.... Dual xeons vs. AMD or X2.
Which is most cost effective? It seems AMD X2 costs 2x?
Win64 must make a difference?
I am hoping somebody is bored enough at work today to graph these resutls. I would also like to see a chart of $ per time.
Also - nobody has a P4 Extreme (840)?

Wish they'd do it for AMD as well

According to that chart the 4200 & 4400 are the same. I was considering the 4400 but according to those numbers its not worth the extra cost. Thanks for posting that.
I really like the vray numbers more then the radiosity figures. Thats what I'm really interested in. Real world numbers for vray since thats what we use.
