Any word on the differences here?

    • there was a slight reflection bug in 1.47 so what 1.5 is rendering is more correct

              • At $2,499 you cant beat it I dont think. Although I do have alot more RAM on order plus you need to buy Windows.
I'd recomend installing a second hard drive in your MacPro. I have the mac OS on one hard drive and XP on the other. Bootcamp will still see it as a partition. There are some issuses with bootcamp that cause your hard drive to go from 60 MB/sec transfer speed down to 3 MB/sec transfers if you run Bootcamp on a single drive. The work around is very tedious. If you have 2 hard drives you wont get this problem.
Also if you plan to run XP64 there are some issues there too. PM if you are and I'll get you the links...its no big deal, you'll be up and running in no time

                    • did you render the 1.5 scene or the original 1.47 scene?
There seems to be something odd with the relections/refractions
